Website for a Law Firm in Mt. Lookout
The head of IT contacted us asking us if we could help improve their search engines rankings. While SEO isn’t our core competence (a lot of SEO happens off-site, like in-bound links), we took a quick look at the site and realized that there were things we could do with the code to help them work their way up the rankings.
What we did
The design was sound over-all, so instead of starting from scratch we rebuilt it using standards-based code, replaced an image-based navigation system with text, added some locally identifiable information (address, local references, phone number) and tweaked a few other elements so that the site would rank better in search engines, download faster, was easier to maintain, and looks great in mobile devices.

We’d been maintaining the originial Fit website (built when the brand was still owned by P&G) for several years. Its age was starting to show and the site lacked several features now common to sites.
